Born in Hyderabad, India, Dr. Rajan received his medical degree from Osmania University in India. He then came to the United States where he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Nassau University Medical Center at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in New York. He moved to Florida in 1994, practicing first in New Port Richey and then in 1998 he moved to Bradenton, Florida.
Dr. Rajan is a licensed cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including echocardiography, stress testing, and holter as well as nuclear cardiology. Dr. Rajan’s in-hospital treatment practices include: Transsophageal echocardiography, transvenous pacemaker placements, heart catherizations, intra-aortic balloon pump insertions.
Dr. Rajan is a staff cardiologist at Blake Medical Center and Manatee Memorial Hospital. Dr. Rajan is on numerous hospital, health care, pharmaceutical and pacemaker advisory boards.
Dr. Rajan has been practicing cardiology in Bradenton for over 16 years. Dr. Rajan has been nominated for “Top 10 Doctors” in Manatee County on 5 different years and Doctor of the Year at Blake Medical Center in 2011.
